Lazy Day

I feel better! So much better!  I slept a full 12 hours and feel better than I have in days.  I also had a very relaxing day. I stayed at Hope’s Inn all day long.

I enjoyed a cup of coffee just sitting on the porch with no hurry to get to the hospital.

Melissa and Amelia went to the border today to go out of the country and then return.  Every ninety days this must be done and they are both due in the next week or two. The trip actually went smoothly and quickly for them and they were back by lunchtime.  But this morning, I got to hand out with the girls so they didn’t have to do the long and boring car ride. We colored, did puzzles, played memory, made sticker pages, and sang.  They are super creative and funny.  

JoJo the dog came by.  Malawians do not like dogs at all.  The girls usually are terrified. Brenda warmed up to him a little with some prodding.  Brandina was just super thankful for the Dutch door.

We had leftover pizza for lunch.  The kids all played together in the yard and the grownup enjoyed talking and reading on the porch for the afternoon.  I did get out the Polaroid and took pictures. They love having pictures of their own.

We had some new students to arrive and Lisanne and Marjoline showed them around the village.  They also picked up the things I had the tailor make for me-I am so happy with them. He did make a cover for my Bible that I will have to. Take back it is just too big.  

I again am heading to bed a little early with hopes to read and get another good night’s sleep.  Thank you all for the prayers for some recovery. God is always faithful to provide me with what I reallly need.  Kid giggle therapy and sleep!
