I am above all an adopted daughter of the King of Kings. I stand in amazement at the God of the Universe who has chosen someone like me and who allows me to tell others about Him.  Despite the fact that I am impatient, can trip over my own feet, and can forget anything not on my list, God has given me the privilege of serving His children as a pediatrician in a lot of places!

I am blessed to have been married to the man of my dreams for over 25 years and we have 4 amazing children.  We also have  terrific parents and extended family who have supported us along our crazy journey.  We live in Texarkana, Texas and enjoy traveling and visiting our four grown children.  As we start this "empty nest" chapter, we are excited about leading missions activities at our church and continuing to volunteer in our community.  I have stopped my clinical job and I am looking forward to more international mission adventures.

Operation Christmas Child is one of my favorite activities to support each year.  I just don't think it gets better than a combo of Jesus, kids, and presents.  Like their motto says, I want my life to be one of GOOD NEWS and GREAT JOY!
